Standard Reference, but re-organized and simplified to make it extremely easy to
use. Depending on the country edition of BodyByte, the database also contains local
food items, and these are continually revised and added into product update releases.
Unlimited number of users per installation. BodyByte can handle the entire family
or total client base of the nutrition- , health- or fitness professional’s practice.
A customized food list ("favorites") for each user file, to hold all regularly used
and personalized food items and recipes.
Independence from any particular diet- or exercise regime or philosophy, allowing
its use for implementation of ANY existing or new diet- or exercise plan.
Capturing of speciality food items not present in the food database.

Intake history recording and monitoring. Keeping record of what, and how much, you

Body state history recording and monitoring. This includes recording personal body
state parameter details such as your body weight, body fat percentage, body measures,

A very powerful feature of BodyByte can be found in its ability to determine your
Daily Energy Intake Threshold – that is, to calculate the average daily energy intake
at which you will maintain your current body weight, in relation to an accurately
determined macro-nutrient (carbohydrate, protein and fat) ratio. This threshold is
based on actual recorded intake and body state history, and is representative of
you, the individual – not some generalized guesstimate. Adjust your average daily
energy intake to below this threshold to lose weight, or above it to gain weight.
For weight loss, this feature provides the ideal platform to experiment with variations
of macro-nutrient ratios to determine optimum values in order for you to maximize
your daily energy threshold.
E-mailing of user files between supervisor and client, directly from the BodyByte
